CURRENT MISSION We are spending a month travelling around BC to see where we would like to live for the next few years :) Mainly focused on Squamish, Okanagan, Nelson, & Revelstoke but open to suggestions! Anywhere with good adventure sports. My girlfriend (Julia) and I have been living in Chamonix for a couple of years now and are beginning to look for a new place to settle down in, preferably somewhere with fantastic climbing, mountains and friendly people :) ABOUT US I'm a very active, positive person who loves mountain adventure sports - especially climbing & mountaineering. I'm english but have lived in Scandinavia with my Swedish girlfriend for 3years, and the French Alps for 2years. Julia has a lot of similar interests, and comes from a bilingual family so speaks Spanish, Swedish and English fluently! We're vegetarian but have no problem with others eating meat. We have been living in Chamonix for 2years climbing & snowboarding and have loved it! But are now looking for the next place to live, and potentially to make a home. Obviously I love to travel, and enjoy learning new cultures. Personality wise i'm a very happy, social person who tries to see the best in people, but I imagine everyone on this website says that! The stuff about me that's a bit more unique is i'm a climbing instructor and love to take beginners out abseiling / climbing, and also passionate about making cocktails.

Почему я на Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Met some great locals in the Bernese Oberland, got to go paragliding, fun nights out, but haven't actually stayed on anyone's couch yet!

Мои интересы
Climbing & mountaineering is first on my list! We try to get out camping as much as possible. Though i do enjoy a bit of luxury - go to a nice bar or have a nice meal. In general i keep myself active and always keen to try out a new adventure sport. I've been bartending for a long time so definitely like the cocktail industry, and of course the whole experience of travelling to new places and hearing all the stories people have to tell.
