To discover the world and the people in it. Couchsurfing was always the best way to meet like-minded people in the most far-flung places, or to be able to re-pay the karma while hosting at home. I'm returning to Couchsurfing after a rather long hiatus. Summer 2025 will be my last journey around Central Asia, having been living in Almaty, Kazakhstan for the last few years. With plans to visit Iran and Mongolia I won't be able to rely on Russian to get me by any more, and I'll probably be traveling solo.
