Hello everyone! My name is David and I am a Kiwi who currently lives in Singapore. One of my many life goal's is to embrace every weird and wonderful culture I can find on this wonderful diverse planet we live on. I really enjoy meeting new people from all over the world, and being a couchsurfing host helps me keep that travel vibe going all the time when I am not on the road myself. I have a positive outlook on life and don't take myself too seriously, firm believer in honesty, human kindness, karma, compassion and mutual respect. PHILOSOPHY Keep traveling and talk to strangers. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Hosted Couchsurfers, attended couch surfing events, organised some couch surfing meetings, and couchsurfed myself COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I think couchsurfing is great!! Literally everyone I have hosted or been hosted from has turned into a new friend. So I think it's awesome you can find like-minded people in pretty much every country in the world. The free accommodation is simply an added bonus.

Backpacked Central America from Panama to Mexico with no knowledge of Spanish. Survived on Couchsurfing and the goodwill of awesome locals in Iran. Climbed a 3860 meter mountain in Kyrgyzstan with socks for gloves and a pack of snickers bars for breakfast
