PHILOSOPHY I generally believe people are more alike than they are not. Division does humanity a disservice. I believe in the observable and theoretical nature of the Universe, namely that we are of the planet, which is of the stars, and that the Galaxies are too beautiful to need a god. I am nonviolent, and believe that mass-communication in the hands of industry have created a complacent consumer culture which has corrupted our governance & way of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING My long-time girlfriend (user: WombatFunOne) & I think that the concept for this site is truly unique, and as we consider our long-term goals and consider future cities (or countries?) to call home, I think we may end up seeing some sights along the way. I recently witnessed with naked eye: Saturn, Mars, the Moon, and Venus in the sky simultaneously. It was a wonder to discern the arc they drew in the sky and to visualize my place in the Solar system.
