I'm a writer, musician and teacher who lives internationally. I'm from New York, and my current home is İstanbul, Turkey, though I've had several different homes in the past few years. One of my favorite things in the world is discovering and exploring different cultures - be it through music, art, books, food, or good conversations. The opportunity for this is why I love Couchsurfing so much.

I joined in 2006... I'm on CS because I've always been on CS at this point. It's a way of life. I feel like I grew up on this website.
Музыка, кино и книги
I love the music that I make with my friends when we're sitting on a balcony in Berlin or by a lake in France, guitars and ukuleles in hand, bottles of wine or beer nearby. I love the movies that make you laugh, cry, shout, and sing. I love the books that change your view of the world, that inspire you to greatness, that never leave your subconsciousness.

I'm lucky to have a few stories to tell. I've lived in more than five different countries. I've been refused entry to the United Kingdom and locked up at the border. I've gotten a ride with a beauty pageant van while hitchhiking to a music festival in Serbia. I've written and recorded songs that some people have loved. I'm still trying to finish that novel. I've fallen in love.
