Почему я на Couchsurfing
My first CS experience was with some travelers staying at my friends place in Spain. It was a fun time and I thought this would be a good way to expand my cultural knowledge while helping people get an experience they could not get from staying in a hotel or hostel. I like to meet and help out travelers looking to explore around Portland. While I've never stayed with a host, I have hosted several people over the years.

I enjoy a variety of movies, too many too list. I love live music, regardless of genre, because really that is what it is is all about. Currently I have been in a bit of a country/bluegrass phase, but love everything from Jazz to Techno. Recent reads: 100 years of Solitude, The Alchemist, One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich.

I'd say the most interesting experience was being in Barcelona for Riots after the Champions League game in 2009.

I enjoy everyday the best that I can. My outlook on life changes a little from every person that I meet. I believe in Karma, and in trying to be a decent human being. I don't have any regrets, because anything I would have done differently would change the world I am in today.

I live outside of Portland, but am close in proximity to the airport, and the outdoors. Its a quick trip to the Gorge with tons of hiking trails and waterfalls, including Multnomah Falls. I also go up to Mt hood frequently, staying at my cabin and going snowboarding. While I know my way around Portland, I tend to gravitate towards the outdoors, and would be happy to show people either!
