HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have attended a lot of the weekly meetings in Montreal, a CS beach party and have met for "coffee or a drink" and so far I LOVE IT!!!! Everyone I've met has some amazing story to tell and is extremely friendly and openminded. Since this point, I have been surfing through europe for a few months. There were a few instances where I wasn't able to find a host before arriving in a city, but then I went to a meetup and not only found hosts, but made great friends. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've couchsurfed before I knew of the website's existence. I've slept on many floors, couches, shared futons and beds with a lot of people (fit 5 people on a futon, nice). Many strange people have grazed my beds, couches and floors (my favorite was a metal guy sleeping on my floor with his head under the coffee table). I've been shown amazing times by people in cities I've visited and do my best to do the same for others. I love my city and I love to show it to people! Oh, and I've been going to the weekly meetings, so much fun! My favorite sorts of music are old punk, rockabilly, psychobilly, rock and roll, bluegrass, Ukranian polkas, honky tonk, reggae, funk and anythnig else that gets my shoulders a bopppin'. My favorite books are zany ones like anything by Chuck Palahniuk and Irvine Welsh but I'm also a nerd and love anything psych related. Big Lebowsky is my all time favorite, but I like a lot of movies
