CURRENT MISSION Learning about natural farming and developing an ecotourism project in Ikaria www.discoverikaria.com ABOUT ME I live in a tiny village at a remoted island in Aegean sea, in a small stone home of previous century. I enjoy waking up, listening to the sound of the forest out of my bedroom door. I like simple thinks like pleasant and smily people with warm soul who try to be themselves in this planet of hypocricy, multi day hikes to unspoiled nature, sleeping in a beautiful sandy beach, tasting fruits, dancing,reading books of science fiction, entering for free at concerts, hitchhiking, trying to find my way to life! I love the life of the countryside and i wish i could live in a collective village sharing my dreams with other dreamers of a non individualistic life. See you on the road. PHILOSOPHY Live simple, share everything, "cultivate" mind and soul.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING As i am the only offering a couch in the area i live, Rahes of Ikaria, i like helping people taste real Ikaria and share my personal philosophy about low impact, easy life in the countryside. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I mainly have hosted people in Ikaria, during summer the last years. Some people where just passing by, some wanted to meet a local, some wanted to meet us! Most of them where kind, interesting and possible friends. I cant host at the moment because my home is under construction and i am also hosted by relatives. I was hosted in four different countries during my road trip last months form Holland to Spain. A huge thanks to all these great and hospital people!

I can show you bacics for ecological beekeeping, making products with wax and propolis,some cooking of greek dishes, inform you about aromatic and therapeutical plants for medicinal use and help you start learning greek language as well. I like learning new skills help me to be more self sufficient and sharing inspiration and vivid energy for keep going in the endless experiment we call life
