HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I would love to host travelers in our home in Reno, NV. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I just joined the CS, based on my son’s recommendation. I love the idea. Staying in hotels is directly connected in my mind with business trips and loneliness. On our trips we stayed in youth hostels, with family or friends. I can sleep on a couch, on inflatable mattress, on the floor or on a stack of suitcases. I go on months long trips with one suitcase or a backpack.

My favorite pursuits are: visiting art museums, going on safaris, hiking trips, biking, skiing and white water canoeing, watercolor painting, photography, knitting, quilting... that’s in addition to designing bridges.
