Spent 3 months in Sierra Leone in 1981 Had 24 hour IRA guard in my house in Belfast in 1977 Raised a kid single handedly - as he is now 32 and doing well, I think I succeeded. Had a 50th birthday party in Ireland with 26 friends from 12 countries and my 60th party on Lake Balaton, Hungary. Performed in the Vagina Monologues in 2012.

I love getting people together I want to be fluent at another language - just very basic in German, French and Norwegian now. Good at map reading and sense of direction. Good cook

I sing in a womens choir and I worked in a community with adults with intellectual disabilities for 27 years. It's on a 550 acre farm. Since retiring I have been to New Zealand with a friend, to Germany to visit friends and to N. Ireland to do some volunteer work.
