I love to meet new people whether they're visiting my country or I'm travelling. As far as genras go, I like most music apart from really heavy metal, the majority of movies apart from horror. In terms of books, I'm generally a history buff so generally historical literature (I love Charles C Mann's 1491 and 1493).
