Participated in Hadaka-matsuri (Naked Man Festival) in Okayama, Japan! By far the coolest, craziest thing I have ever done. Strapped on a sumo diaper and fought alongside 9,000 other men. A group of dolphins in the mammal community have an innate sense of protection against larger predators, or sharks. Right before an attack, dolphins have a way of warning other communities of fish, completely irrelevant from their own community, that a shark is about to attack by swimming in a fast circular motion. Even though this example illustrates an innate behavior amongst the mammal community, a parallel can be made for human species as well. Like dolphins, communities should work together to protect themselves from danger, thus building trust. I believe this is a perfect representation of what CS is all about!
