CURRENT MISSION To give back more than I take ABOUT ME Open to any adventure, a book is always in hand, volunteer for WorldHope Corps and HeartBridge of the Carolinas, Parrothead, licorice connoisseur, believer in a loving God, I recycle anything from plastic bottles to turning stale bread into croutons - I hate wasting food when children are starving all over the world! HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I look forward to sharing my part of the world with others and learning about theirs, too! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My family was always sleeping on someone's couch - or offering a couch to others.

Music: anything with banjos or harmonicas, any artist who can write their own song and play an instrument (note: I have not one musical note in my body!) Movies: Fangbanger movies, westerns, anything that teaches me about the world (Children of Huang Shi, Blood Diamond, Hotel Rwanda), Into the Wild, oh.. and my favorite "The Sound of Music"

Once sang with 25 African children on top of a rock, seeing the Southern Cross for the first time, 2x ran 1/2 marathon - the most amazing part was that I finished!

I enjoy traveling anywhere - it can be Akron, Ohio or Machu Picchu - if I haven't been there I am always willing to go there, the gym, volunteer work, love riding on the back of a Harley, seeing live music (concert, festivals, midnite acoustic sessions with friends, musicals)
