COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've started using this magical tool to meet amazing people and built incredible friendships in 2009. Ever since then every experience I've had with Couchsurfing has been fantastic. I've been hosted by the most wonderful, hospitable and kind people in Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Hokkaido, New York and Europe. And of course whenever I settle down I host people at my place like I did while I lived in Japan.

MUSIC: (mainly British) indie rock, rock in general, jazz, classical music. Always discovering new bands and sounds. Basically I like most of the bands beginning with 'THE'. MOVIES: classy, smart, witty and funny movies. I enjoy literary adaptations, though I would always prefer a good novel / short story to a film. Love creations of Woody Allen, Francois Ozon, Wim Wenders, Pedro Almodovar, Emir Kusturica, Shion Sono. BOOKS: I am a girl who reads (and occasionally writes). Love classics. A big fan of British, Russian, American and European literature. Familiar with Japanese and Chinese literature as well. To name a few - Maugham, Chekhov, Kundera, Kafka, Orwell, Akutagawa.
