CURRENT MISSION Working for World Disarmament and raising compassionate children. ABOUT ME I'm a 60 years young Peruvian-Australian-American female who has lived abroad for most of my adult life. Before I created my family I roamed the world for 10 years, studying-volunteering-working , learning from the people and cultures I encountered and leading a frugal life. I've been applying all those skills to my daily existence, starting with speaking new languages to cooking international food, enjoying world folk music/dance y watching foreign films. PHILOSOPHY "Treat others as you would like to be treated," it has been my motto always and especially when traveling and people have almost always responded in a positive way.

Почему я на Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm thinking of ways how to become more involved in this new community, perhaps volunteering and organizing meetings in my area. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE None. I learned to host from my parents who lodged local and international people back in Lima, Peru. However, since I first began traveling at 17, back in the provinces of Peru and later in the neighboring countries, then in Australia, India, Israel/Palestine, Greece, England, Holland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Soviet Union, France, USA., Mexico and Bolivia. People usually gave me a place to sleep, from a corner in a room on a couch to a private room, invited me to their parties, introduced me to their friends, took me to their jobs and their schools, also to their places of worship.

Одно удивительное, что я сделал
The one amazing thing I've done in my life was when I was 25 and went to Australia to study-work-volunteer with a scholarship by the Australian government. I lived with the Aborigenes, studied and researched their culture. At first I didn't know anybody there but I had a wonderful time and I extended my stay from 2 to 4 years and then left for my world adventures with an Australian passport for another 6 years in India, The Middle East, Greece, The U.K., Holland, Scandinavia, USSR, France and the Americas.
Учить, учиться, делиться
I can teach how to travel on a budget, Spanish, English and basic French, Italian and Portuguese. I would like to learn how to dance to the Balkan, Bhangra and Cajun music. I would like to share my Peruvian food which is one of the best in the world, also toast with Pisco Sour, Chianti wine and Salud, Lehaim, Sante, Nazdrovia, Kampay!!!
