I'm an Art Director who decided to move to Bologna after living for 10 years in Edinburgh, Scotland. My heritage is a little bit from everywhere -- Korean + Hawaiian on my mum's side and Indo-Caribbean + English on my dad's side. After graduating, I founded and exited a food and beverage design company, before forming my own boutique art direction studio working with a range of start-ups and entrepreneurs around the world. Nowadays, I am lucky enough to spend my time soaking in this beautiful country, meeting new people, practising Italian, and working on fun artistic projects that inspire me. I publish a limited-run design magazine called Command+i, and I'm currently in the process of building a sustainable lavender micro-lavender farm in northern Toscana. I love cooking, visiting local food markets, specialty coffee (especially pour overs), hiking, live music, art, architecture, painting, photography, cycling, football and tennis. I am looking to connect with as many people as possible and enjoy the local nature, food, wine and language!

Почему я на Couchsurfing
Here to meet lots of different people, see interesting local events and get to know the city through people who already live here!
Музыка, кино и книги
I love a range of music, from jazz (I play trumpet and piano) and neo-soul to low-fi and Taylor Swift. My favourite films are Ratatouille and Midnight in Paris. I wish I read more, but I always enjoy Japanese novels from Murakami and my favourite book is Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata.
Одно удивительное, что я сделал
The solo 2500km drive from Edinburgh to Bologna was the most recent thing that I loved doing! I booked my accommodation each night as I went and savoured meandering through France and northern Italy.
Учить, учиться, делиться
I love showing people around Bologna, my favourite city in the whole world! I can share my passion for specialty coffee, along with design and photography, and would love to learn more about the the Italian language, local wine and lifestyle in general. I love my Italian tutorials, practising conversations and deepening my admiration for this beautiful language!
