Hi! My name is Alex. I’m a college student at Duke University in North Carolina! I’m double majoring in Biology and Neuroscience with a minor in Economics, and a part of the Air Force ROTC program. Between semesters, I’m an avid traveler and absolutely love going to see new places, meet amazing people, and try new things. I really enjoy learning about different cultures and religions, coming from a mixed family myself. My mom’s side of the family is Vietnamese and my dad’s is American, so I love being able to have a foot in both cultures. In my free time, I love sports, music, and the outdoors. I’ve been a competitive figure skater since I was 6 years old and am a 4-Time US Figure Skating Gold Medalist, I have my 1st Dan Shodan certification under USA Karate, and I’m a very average rock climber. I also play violin and sing in small ensembles and choir, and I dabble in guitar (think casual campfire guitarist vibes).
