It's a great way to be invited into local people's home and get their stories and also to get challenged in the way of travelling, it definitely has a lot more value than an all-inclusive hotel close to the beach in my opinion... I've already had some great experiences in couchsurfing outside this platform, so of course i had to make a profile to be a part of a bigger network.
