Hello! I'm a student from the US, beginning my first year of college at UPenn in the fall. I was born in Fontainbleau, France, and moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA, when I was 5. I have lived there since, but will study in Philadelphia. I hope to explore what is out there and expand my limited mind.

Почему я на Couchsurfing
I have a carpet I can offer you to crash on. I live in university housing, which is pretty small. I am here to meet travelers who find themselves in Philly and appreciate seeing a place's daily culture. Warning: I just moved to Philly, so my knowledge of the place as a whole is very limited.
Музыка, кино и книги
I like classic rock, funk, some jazz, and I enjoy hip hop. Mostly American stuff, some French rap, and I'm starting to listen to Fabrizio de Andre. I love Pink Floyd. I am also partial to Ennio Morricone. I like American beauty, City of God, Le Professionel, Amarcord, and spaghetti westerns, many movies I've seen.
Одно удивительное, что я сделал
I once meditated with Buddhists in a monestary of European converts in the Swiss Alps. For whatever reason, I decided to return to the normal world. Still deliberating if I made the right choice.
Что я могу предложить хостам
I hope to help around the house because I feel guilty if I feel like I'm not holding my keep. I can share my experience with American culture, and I enjoy having fun, relaxing, and joking around. I'm also interested jn having talks about the nature of the universe or whatever crosses our minds. Any brain use is good use.
Мои интересы
I enjoy playing sports. Specifically, I play soccer, I run, and I wrestle. I love the outdoors, and go hiking and camping somewhat often. I am unsure of what I want to study, but I enjoy philosophy and hope to learn more about the arts. I enjoy reading--my favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, Umberto Eco, and Voltaire. I am currently aiming to finish The Brothers Karamazov, Blood Meridian, Le Petit Prince, and The Handmaid's Tale.
