I lack the friends that are willing to go travelling and as a potential solo traveler I want to have a local connection where I'm visiting rather than being isolated.

I certainly don't think I'm a great cook, but I don't think I'm terrible either. I would love to maybe cook something one night to share or buy a few drinks, whatever works.
