I love getting to meet the locals while traveling. Some of the best conversations I've ever had have been with couchsurfing acquaintances!

In the summer of 2018 I worked as a commercial fisherman in Alaska! A lot of firsts for me, including but not limited to: getting chased by a moose, being stung in the eye by a jellyfish, experiencing a crazy Alaskan rave, and having a close call with killer whales and one crazy seal!
