I love meeting new people. I love travelling. I love sharing experiences with others. Couchsurfing is a great way to do all of these things. For me, it is people who make a place special. Spending time in someone's company, swapping stories and creating new memories brings the world to life in a way that a hotel bedroom never will.

My time in Senegal gave me a real love for afrobeat and reggae. However, depending on what I'm doing, I tend to like most genres of music. Books: Anything by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie; Scandinavian thrillers; A Thousand Splendid Suns; Life of Pi Films: Pirates of the Caribbean (because who couldn't love Johnny Depp in that?!)
