My wife and I are currently living in the UAE and are working as teachers. We left our home in Calgary, Canada, 2 years ago, and started teaching as ESL teachers in Thailand, where we spent a year. In the summer of 2017, we moved to the UAE, and have been teaching here ever since. We have a passion for the outdoors, love to hike and scuba dive, and experience new cultures. Perhaps one day we will go back to our 'day jobs', but for now, we're just as content travelling the world, seeing new places, and meeting new people!

Почему я на Couchsurfing
When travelling long term, the hotel/hostel options can quickly get old very quickly. Not only are these options pricy, but they can limit the element of human interaction, which I think is one of the most important aspects of travelling. Through the CouchSurfing experience, my wife and I are looking forward to the exchange of stories, ideas and perspectives with locals and fellow travellers alike! Hopefully, we'll come away with lasting friendships, and opportunities to host our new friends someday :)
