I have done many amazing things over my life time, some of the most memorable are running and completing the Chicago Marathon, traveling to over 19 countries, surviving a war, and conquering cancer.

I have a deep desire and passion to teach, learn, and share with others some to the great cultures, foods, and experiences that I have gained through my travels and experiences with so many wonder people that I have met and made friends with around the world. What I have learned and gained about life from common and simple every day people far exceeds everything that I was taught in colleges and universities.

I can share with my hosts from my first hand experiences that people everywhere are pretty much the same the world over, with the same hopes and desires for he future. A longing for peace, well-being, and happiness. I have found that people the world over, regardless of country of origin, nationality, ethnicity, skin-color, or race, are all basically warm and friendly people.

My interest include photography, historical and cultural exchanges, and writing.
