I'm a soccer coach, Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician, and an Explorer for the Outbound Collective (www.theoutbound.com). I have a blog called That Solitary Path (www.theruggedtrail.com) that I use to chronicle my adventures. I love traveling and seeing the world. My favorite travel destinations so far have been South Africa and India. For those who host me, know that I live simply, I'm quiet but not shy, and I am friendly to everyone. My life's motto is to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way!

Почему я на Couchsurfing
I'm pretty new to couchsurfing (at least to the website - I've "couchsurfed" many times with pals of mine from university), but I love meeting new people and learning different cultures.
Музыка, кино и книги
I listen to some music, but I enjoy all (unless it's super loud or crude). Music I listen to tends to be in whatever season of life I'm in, but currently is like M83, Explosions in the Sky, Volcano Choir, JGivens, and Bethel.
Одно удивительное, что я сделал
I led a climbing expedition into the backcountry of the North Cascades for ten days, of which 9 days were spent without seeing a single other person (but we did see a bear!).
Учить, учиться, делиться
I've taught English in South Africa, coached soccer (as previously mentioned), and I love to learn. I always go into other countries with the attitude of a learner, and I believe that is why I love traveling so much.
Что я могу предложить хостам
My beliefs, values, and experience. I can sketch a little (but it's pretty rough) as well as blog (a lot)
Мои интересы
I love everything outdoors - climbing, hiking, backcountry bushwacks into remote places, etc. I also have a passion for soccer and have coached for the past 4 years all around the world - from the USA to South Africa to Iraq/Kurdistan! I also love to run, and used to be an NCAA Division 1 cross country runner at Oral Roberts University. I love to write too!
