I'm a 26 years old living in Dortmund, Germany. I hardly have couchsurfing experience except staying with a lovely mom of two boys in Kyoto. Since I started Uni I haven't travelled as much as I wanted but me and my boyfriend bought a travel van with wich we plan to go around Europe this summer. I'm a very curious and open minded person and thrilled to get to know new people. Anything you want to put me through to get to know your culture - I'm in! :) This may also be one of the reasons why I study Science Journalism. I like to try and examine new things! Also I have lot's of interesting science facts up my sleeve for you, if you're interested ;) Unfortunately I can not host any surfers at the moment.

Музыка, кино и книги
I do not really have a favorite type of music, but if I should name one it would be anything funky and groovy (like real disco stuff). It always depends on where I am and under wich circumstances. I choose Arthouse Cinema over Blockbusters. About books I like (of course) science related books that teach you something...I'm currently reading a book about my favourite animal of all time: the octopus <3. Otherwise I like any book that takes me to another world or into another person's life. I tend to get really involved when reading :)

I went on a oceanographic research vessel at the Baltic Sea for a day, we took a large probe from the ground and examined the layers - that's when I touched 30 000 years old shells and tasted the mud from the ground of the sea (it smelled like sulfur/egg but tasted like very wet forest soil, wich is maybe because it is very old and rotten forest :D).

I can teach you some mad athletic skills like handstands, cartwheels or ninja style kicks and for the more advanced and brave maybe an aerial (cartwheel without hands) ;) Of course I can teach you some german, maybe in exchange with some of your language. And Science! Let's talk about nerd stuff!

During my free time I like to clear my head with skateboarding or dance. Or I stuff my head with scientific knowledge, sharing it over my Instagram Channel "echonaut.science". Besides that I am a very visual person and I also like to go to any kind of museum or cultural sites. And of course I like to eat a lot ;) That's maybe my biggest passion.
