Walking through the old city of Jerusalem. Seeing the Golan Heights and the bullet holes on the walls. Floating in the Dead Sea, sinking in the mudhole. Go-carting in Batam with makeshift go-carts on motorcycle engines. Getting thrown off speed boats. Climbing Huangshan in China. Being lost in Osaka. Biking around Kyoto. Spending a night at Shirakawa-go. Hiking in Kamikochi. Doing a 28 hour day in Tokyo, starting with a nap at a manga kissa, a tour of the Tsukiji tuna auction and some seriously good sushi.
