Hey travelers! I come from Kyiv, Ukraine but currently live in Weimar, Germany where I am pursuing my Master’s in international relations. Though I unfortunately cannot offer you a stay here, I love a good company and will gladly show you around the best places in this lovely little town or in the cities nearby - Erfurt and Jena:) And of course giver you the tips for the best experience.

Почему я на Couchsurfing
Despite my love for reading, some of the most important things I’ve learned so far came not from books but from people. And the more people I meet the more reassured I am that this world is such an beautiful, kind and interesting place to live in. I enjoy the idea, that I can contribute to somebody’s life experience, either as a host or as a traveller. My first time traveling with CS was such an eye-opening thing, it forever turned traveling into something more than places for me. Now, when it comes to traveling, I don’t make up comprehensive bucket lists of things to see. I feel perfectly at ease spending a whole day in the park or at a museum in a nice company of some locals. I don’t rush things. I like exploring less obvious locations with the new people I meet. This feels more natural to me.
Музыка, кино и книги
I am a book worm. Sometimes I read two books at a time because I can’t make a choice. My all-time favorite fictional character is Atticus Finch from To Kill A Mockingbird and Alexander Rostov from a Gentleman in Moscow (both summarizing the qualities I strive for myself and appreciate in others). My favorite fiction books are: The Book Thief, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Storyteller (by Jody Picoult), A Gentleman in Moscow and all of Chekhov. Music: anything really I generally love the oldies like the Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel and their contemporaries. There are too many movies I like, but the one I have watched inappropriately many times is Catch Me if You Can (2002).
Одно удивительное, что я сделал
- exchange year in the USA - hitchhiking to the Carpathian Mountains - diving in the Red Sea - meeting lovely people during my first time couch-surfing in Germany. - riding four-wheelers in the desert many more I’m trying to remember and update this list
Что я могу предложить хостам
If you have the piano, I will be beyond happy to play for you. I bring my stories and Ukrainian chocolate/tea/honey:) I usually take my Cannon camera with me when I travel, and I’m always up for making some portraits for you to keep as my humble thank you gesture😉
