I have traveled more than I do now, for funnier and more interesting reasons :-( but I still get on the road any chance I get. I hitch-hiked through Europe and the USA. I have slept in the streets in three continents. I once suffered Stendhal syndrome within a few months in two places which could hardly be any more different: Paris and Delhi. At different points in time, and without any intention on my part, people have thought that I was (in no particular order) french, gay, english, an undercover policeman, jewish, muslim, basque or (this one makes me specially proud) a machinist in an oil tanker: on every occasion I have tried to prolong the misundersanding for as long as I could ;-). I have been told by an Indian friend that I am Indian inside and should move there.
