I live in Cotonou, West-Africa, since 2013, working in International Development. Before coming to Benin I lived in Morocco and Jordan. West-Africa became a second home and today I am mainly trying to build bridges between continents. I mainly work independently and long hours. In weekends we often go out of the city. Sometimes I do side projects, like making documentaries for Belgian television. I share a house with a bunch of Afro-European roommates and whenever we are available, we'd like to host an interesting passenger. My partner is also building a great alternative tourism project in Ouidah where we'd like to tell you all about!

Почему я на Couchsurfing
As a student I traveled through Europe and Northern Africa and used Couchsurfing all the time. I met the best people and lived great adventures. The concept is less developed in West - and Central Africa so I'd like to discover how we could make it as beautiful as elsewhere.
Музыка, кино и книги
Currently discovering old 60's Beninese music and Afrobeat. Same for literature: desperately looking for more authors like Taiye Selassi or Adichie. I also read a lot of Dutch books (original language), afraid to loose my vocabulary in my mother tongue. Popcorn time actually works in Benin, so you could be suprised how up to date we are with the newest series and movies!
Одно удивительное, что я сделал
"Travelling is not about visiting other places, it's all about seeing the world with different eyes." (Andrea Pazienza in Paz!)
Учить, учиться, делиться
I am creating a global network of extraordinary people.
Что я могу предложить хостам
I can give you a survival kit for Cotonou, some tips for travelling in Benin and my opinion on volunteering in Africa. I don't share tourist information on request by email, travel guides exist for that.
Мои интересы
I like to build things, projects in particular. I like every kind of activity with the word 'street' in it. I like good food and ghettomusic, I'd like to start a catering service called 'Nah Mean!?' with one of the best musicians I know. I read 'Le monde diplomatique' and listen to Kanye West. I don't like things that are too conventional or that smell arty.
