Hello! I'm Lucas Bozzo, an Italian-Canadian recent graduate in history and globalization at the University of Bologna. Besides history, I am passionate about arts and culture, food, politics, philosophy, psychology, and travelling! I cook and talk about food voraciously and am a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. I am naturally curious and creative, a calm listener, a careful speaker, a deep feeler, and a friendly, polite, clean, and grateful person to be around. I was born and raised in Toronto and moved to Italy in October 2019 on a whim after being awarded the possibility of studying in Bologna on scholarship. I now live and work in Amman, Jordan, advising a women's empowerment organization on research and communications and am looking forward to meeting nice traveller friends through Couchsurfing!

Почему я на Couchsurfing
Travel transcends sightseeing and the phenomenon of tourism. It is about connecting with a territory, people, history, and culture and finding beauty and humanity in them, along with a deeper understanding of the world and ourselves. I am on Couchsurfing with the hope of sharing such connecting adventures and experiences with travellers and hosts worldwide.

Одно удивительное, что я сделал
I spontaneously lived for a summer with a beautiful family in Ferrara that I met randomly on the internet. They are now a kind of second family. It was a life-changing experience that exposed me to approaches to familial love, happiness, generosity, and friendship that I had not experienced before. I hope to have similarly fun and enlightening experiences with Couchsurfing!
Учить, учиться, делиться
Teach: recipes of all imaginable varieties, everything I know about Bologna, practice with Italian or English. Learn: your story, your city's food traditions and history, your language, your culture, your life experience. Share: conversation, food, friendship, and adventures. I will be writing my MA thesis but would love to connect, cook, and explore Bologna together!
