Hi there! I'm Mara and I'm originally from San Diego, CA. I've been traveling since a young age. I took a gap year before university and lived in Salamanca, Spain for a bit before continuing to travel around Europe and South America (Peru and Argentina). I then furthered my travels in South America by studying and living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. So my Spanish is a mixture of influences :) I graduated university in May 2016 and I left to Europe. I earned a certification in TEFL to teach English in Prague (living there for 9 months). I also toured around Europe and Asia before coming back to North America in June 2018. I'm an easy going, neat, and organized person. I enjoy learning new cultures and languages. I look forward to picking up a little of every language I come in contact with. I enjoy running and usually run every day. If you want a running buddy- I'm ready! I like being physically active as well as discussing the latest Star Wars or Star Trek news. I am open to any conversation as I love learning new things!
