What can I say about myself ? I'm Mathilda, 23 years old, both French and Italian blood in my veins, applied languages graduate student (English, Italian and a little bit of Chinese -你好-), now completing a master's degree in sustainable tourism. I love discovering new things (that's one of the reasons that brought me here!). I can be talkative but I do prefer listening to people. Love this quote: "When you talk, you are only repeating what you already know, but if you listen you may learn something new". I'm a vegetarian by the way, for ethical and environmental reasons.

Почему я на Couchsurfing
I heard about Couchsurfing a few years ago and decided to give it a try, and fortunately I did! I love meeting people from everywhere, with different backgrounds, cultures and so on. The world is full of diversity, it's what make it so wonderful!

🎶 I cannot live whitout music ! Tell me a word, and I will sing a song! I love attending concerts but especially music festivals :) I love several artists (Coldplay, The Fray, Arctic Monkeys...) but I do love Mumford and Sons, Asaf Avidan, Hurts... 🎥 Let's say I'm not a movie fan, if you talk about a movie I will probably not know it, just saying! ;) 📙 I don't really take the time to read *shame on me* but I have a few favorite books: Gone girl, Se questo è un uomo. If you have any book to recommend both in English and Italian, let me know, always looking for good ones.

Living and studying in Edinburgh, which is basically my favorite wee city. 🗺 Went to the Sziget festival, in Hungary. Went skydiving: BEST FEELING EVER.

Can teach you some French and Italian. Share some veggie recipes, and I'de be happy if you can teach me some as well -and even cook for you! I love learning new languages, always glad to discover new ones.

I'm lucky enough to have two horses (Oslo and Tango) Traveling (of course !) I love cooking, one of my specialities is the aubergine tarte tatin (a weird upside-down French pie) Addicted to radishes (it's a bummer there is not a radish emoji by the way)
