I am new in Düsseldorf, and looking forward to meeting new people. One of the biggest reasons I moved here was because I know it is an international city, containing cultures of many different nations. I already discovered the Japanese neighborhood and spend quite a lot of time there to learn more about their culture-especially the food. I am sure there are many more things to do in the city, so it would be nice to have some companions! I like traveling a lot. I think that traveling is a lifestyle and I saw that it is actually a culture. While traveling around Europe, I have met tens of new people in hostels and their stories have actually changed the way I look at life. Since I am studying in a small school, I don't get to travel a lot. Therefore, I see the breaks we have as great opportunities to see new cities in the U.S. and learn more about the American lifestyle. I think couchsurfing is the best way to do it since all the people in the network are willing to know about the people they host.
