James Ellroy (especially 'White Jazz'), James Lee Burke (especially 'Burning Angel'), '80's Heavy Metal(Woooaaaarrrrggghhh'), '60's Psychedelica ('Duuuuude'), '50's Jazz ('Hey Man'), Euro films, anything with great dialogue. The Sound must be exceptional. Great looking & great sounding makes it a plus.

NOT ALL AMERICANS ARE WARMONGERS. GET OFF OUR CASE. When in Japan, be careful when you admire something small. People may feel obligated to give it to you. Also, when staying with a Japanese family, be sure to bring a gift. Something small from your area of the world is fine.
