I enjoy meeting locals when I go new places. This is a great way to do that while also saving money. I am currently living with my parents so I am not looking to host at this time but might be in the future. I hope to be able to host at some point in order to help other couch surfers.

When I was in Mongolia I taught an upper level English class. Sometimes we would go outside the classroom for a day of "real world conversations" where we would practice using English for everyday conversations. One of our adventures was to hike a mountain. Once we reached the top we hung out for a bit just getting to know each other and practicing their English. It was such a neat experience.
