To connect with interesting people, share culture and go on adventures. It’s the weird combination of loving the solo travelling life, yet being unable to go to a restaurant by myself without trying to force the waitstaff to join my table. In my experience, it’s just much more effective to use Couchsurfing instead. And the results have been new friendships, incredible stories and just a hell of a time shared.
