Hello, friends) I'm Mykola (it's same as Nicolas or Nick). I study creative writing in Kyiv and I do love literature (yeah, It's obvious). So, I'm a kinda boring person, If you don't like it). Also, You can be bored because of my music. I play guitar and any other instruments with strings (bet you won't prove it). When I have a lot of free time I'm hitchhiking. It is my own way to open new places on Earth and new aspects of my character. Usually, I do it alone, but I won't refuse If somebody wants to join my loneliness.

Почему я на Couchsurfing
I love to meet a new people and sharing my knowledge with them. I don't like traditional kinds of traveling (city tours with boring guide, staying in hotel 24/7) because it won't give me one important thing - the view of locals. I hope, I can find it here. Also, I love the city, where I'm living now, and the city where I was born. So, I can show you my hometown, Zhytomyr, and Kyiv, the city of my University. Ukrainian hospitality and good food are inclusive)

Music: I love different kinds of music. I can listen to archaic jazz and ambient in one hour. If you want some names, here is them: Django Reinhard, Miles Davis, The Beatles, Nick Drake, Pink Floyd, Vangelis, W.A.S.P., Motley Crue etc. Cinematography = Kubrick, Scorsese, Coppola, Tarkovsky, Parajanov, Illienko, Mykolaychuk, Carpenter, Nolan, Fincher, early Balabanoff, Tarantino etc. Books: Reiner Maria Rilke, T. S. Eliot, Mychayl' Semenko, Mike Yohansen, Andriy Chuzhiy, Gabriel Garsia Lorca, Paul Celan, Samuel Beckett, Ivan Wernisch, Oleh Lysheha and others.
