When I travel, I can sleep outside like a howbow but I need good food & drinks. I don't like to plan my entire trip because I prefer doing day by day what I really want. Being hosted and meeting locals guys is an evidence to me if I really want to learn things about the place / country I discover. It's more than normal to offer things (gift or cooking) to my hosts because I don't consider CS not as a free couch but a great exchange trip.
