CURRENT MISSION Make the best out of this life :) ABOUT ME Hello! I am Olivia and for the past 2 years I spent most of my time Slovakia. One of my favorite places is Scotland where I moved for university. The uni, people, the culture, countryside and Ceilidhs... Oóó Ceilidhs (traditional Gaelic live Scottish music and dance gatherings). If it was just few degrees warmer I would never want to leave :) I was lucky enough to visit quite a few places in my life, usually because of school, work or projects, but I still want to learn more about the word and its peoples :)

Почему я на Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Before the pandemic, I used to organize hiking and clay making events for couchsurfers, and in the past (when I had the time to travel, sweet times) I was lucky enough to be hosted by a few couchsurfers. I love couchsurfing because of the couchsurfers. It is rare to find such like-minded people in an everyday life. I love the passion, optimism, drive, kindness and of course the open-mind that is so characteristic for true couchsurfers.

I cannot pick favourites ;) I love Bob Marley, Ben Howard, System of a Down, Kizomba and Bachata and pretty much else :D Movies: I really enjoyed The Shelter - the movie has a good message.

I have lived in a place where Jews and Palestinians live sustainabely together in peace. I have eaten Armenian bread with Thai butter, Estonian honey and another one with Slovak cheese. I have shared one bedroom with people from more than 6 countries. I have spend a day just laying on a meadow with my best friend. I hiked Grand Canyon. I climbed mountains in Corsica. I thought deaf children in China. I have ridden an elephant through jungle and a camel through desert (the animals were cared for very well). I have seen people laugh and cry. I have lived and enjoyed my life :)

Мои интересы
I love dancing partner Latino dances (salsa, bachata, kizomba, semba, zouk…). Following a dancing lead is my way of switching off. I also enjoy trying new activities, hiking, nature or having a cup of tea and nice conversation.
