My sister told me about couchsurfing and I loved it, meeting people from others towns, countries, sharing experiences, discover other cultures ! So far my experience in couchsurfing has been great !

"What we see is looking at us" of George Didi-Hubermann is definitely one of my favourite books, it teaches you so many things about how you see art but mostly how you view the world !
