I’m pursuing a PhD in Economics at Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research in Mumbai, an advanced research institute of the Reserve Bank of India. A passionate traveller and avid fiction and non-fiction reader, I enjoy exploring and experiencing new places. I could easily spend months on the road with just a good book and a backpack as my companions. Running, listening to Sufi music, and discovering new cultures also fuel my spirit. Couchsurfing, to me, is the perfect blend of travel and human connection. It’s a great way to learn about different places, cultures, and perspectives. Having grown up across various regions of India—Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, and now Mumbai— for my academic pursuits, my experiences have shaped my outlook on life. Studying at the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, an institution founded by Swami Vivekananda, has left a lasting impact on me. My philosophy: Live and Let Live. I’m excited to meet fellow travellers, share stories, and have enriching conversations. Let's connect!
