One night, after having talked nearly everyday for 6 months, I randomly asked if he would let me stay at his place and show me around his city. Fast forward several years, we're now happily married! I guess I can say that that was my first couchsurfing experience ... Ha. That solo trip to Australia was my first-ever trip overseas and my first-ever solo trip.
