When researching the places I would be visiting I learned about couch surfing and found it to be a really interesting way of getting to know the locals and the culture of different countries. I am a shy person so it really isnt easy for me to up to people and try to get to know them better, but I thought I would give Couch sufing a try as it may make the process a bit easier. I want to make new friends, experience new things, and learn as much as I can from hosts.
