CURRENTLY NOT HOSTING Hi everyone! My name is Valentina, I'm a 24-year-old Colombian currently based in Barcelona, one of my favourite cities in the world. I studied Political Science in France and later completed an Erasmus Mundus Master's in Humanitarian Action. After spending some time living in Sierra Leone, I moved back to Barcelona, where I now work as a Grants Manager for an international NGO. I've been travelling since I was 14, and over the years I've realised that what I enjoy most is experiencing places through the eyes of local people rather than through organised tours. For me, the best part of travelling is the conversations, friendships, and unexpected experiences that come along the way. One of my lifelong dreams is to explore every country in the world. I was lucky enough to visit my first 50 countries before turning 22, and my curiosity for discovering new places, cultures, and perspectives only keeps growing. I'm passionate about history, geopolitics, humanitarian issues, and learning how people live in different parts of the world. In my free time, I enjoy photography, hiking, nature, and any adventure that takes me off the beaten path. I'm always happy to exchange stories, learn from others, and share a little bit of Colombian culture. Looking forward to meeting amazing people around the world! 😊

Почему я на Couchsurfing
I downloaded CS when I was 15/16, during my first solo trip around Europe. I didn't use it too much but it was a great experience to meet some people through Hangouts. When I moved to France, I wanted to open my apartment to travelers. It was an amazing experience. When I'm not traveling, I love listening to travel stories and learning words in other languages. Thanks to this community I have visited a lot of countries on a low budget so I would like to return the favour and host people at home.
Одно удивительное, что я сделал
I think that I have done some incredible things till now, but I will mention: - An student exchange to Lebanon when I was 15 - Go to Oman hitchhiking - Almost getting married in India - Visiting 50 countries by 21 yo - Working in the humanitarian/development field in Sierra Leone
Учить, учиться, делиться
I could teach you Spanish or French. Or if you want, I will be glad to talk about my country, Colombia!
Что я могу предложить хостам
I you accept to host me, I will be glad of teach you some things about my culture and my country. I'm a terrible cooker but I can try to make a typical dish from my country.
