Even after partition 😢😢, my Bharat still has so much to offer. From deserts to oceans, snow-capped mountains to dense forests, With architectural marvels standing tall through history, From crowded streets to offbeat corners waiting to be discovered. The wildlife, from majestic tigers to soaring eagles, Roams freely in our forests, a symbol of the untamed beauty of our land. Yes, some people may look around to scam or harm you, But there are countless others, genuine souls ready to help without a second thought. While some still obsess over fair skin, idealizing foreign beauty, Many respect and value the strength, spirit, and grace of women. Some may litter carelessly or indulge in harmful habits, Yet there are those who live with integrity, avoiding addictions and spreading positivity. Our festivals light up the skies, but so does the occasional indifference, Yet there's always kindness in the smallest of gestures, From the aroma of street food to the warmth of the people, Bharat remains a land of contrasts — flawed but beautiful, Where we learn, grow, and strive for a better tomorrow Lifelong Missions : - To have travel buddies all over India - To encourage Eco friendly & Low Budget Tourism in India - At least 1 trip every month I’ve been to some of the places in the following States: - Himachal Pradesh (Chamba, Dharamshala, Shimla, kinnaur, Manali, Kangra, Bir, Barot…) - Uttarakhand (Haridwar, Rishikesh, kedarnath, badrinath, joshimath, chopta, kartik swami, othimath, madhyamaheahwar) - Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu, Katra, Srinagar, Pahalgam, Sonamarg) - Bihar (Gaya, Bodh gaya, nalanda - Uttar Pradesh (Prayagraj, Varanasi, Agra, Mathura) - Meghalaya (Shillong, Cherapoonji) - Nagaland (Kohima) - Odisha (Puri, Bhubaneshwar, Konark, Chilika) - Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain) - Rajasthan (Jodhpur, jaipur, bikaner, jaisalmer, Dausa, Khatu, Salasar) - Maharashtra (Mumbai, Aurangabad, Shirdi, Nashik) Delhi - Gujarat (Somnath, Junagarh, Dwarka, Gir) - Telangana (Hyderabad) - Andhra pradesh (Sri Sailam) - Karnataka (Gokarna, Hampi, Badami, Huballi) - Ladakh (Kargil, Suru, Zanskar) - Punjab (Amritsar) My Last few trips were: June 2025 to Uttarakhand for Tungnath and Badrinath June 2025 to Odisha for Rath Yatra Aug 2025 to Himachal Pradesh for Manimahesh Yatra Nov 2025 to Hyderabad, Srisailam, Hampi, Badami, Hubballi, Gokarna, Murudeshwar Jan 2026 to Katra in Jammu and Dharamshala, Bir, Barot in Himachal May 2026 - Amritsar, Srinagar, Pahalgam May & June 2026 - Srinagar, Sonamarg, Kargil, Aryan Valley, Suru Valley, Zanskar July & Aug 2026 - Kerala (Kasargod, Kollam, Munnar, Thakkedy, Vagamon, Allepy, Kochi, Varkala, Thiruvanthpuram) You can read about my trips here : https://ghumakkadi.com/traveler/sahil7459 I’m a little slow traveler. I skip restaurants, walk a lot, hitchhike often, stay low-budget, eat simple, and prefer silence over small talk. I’m not for everyone, If you vibe with this, message me. I’m trying to build a community of raw travelers. Let’s connect, maybe travel together, maybe create something together. Happy Travelling :) And for those fellow Indian couchsurfers who say big words on travel, community, helping… and in the end only accept foreigner’s requests… why do you do that ? coz foreigners bring expensive gifts? maybe their review look good on your profile? or there’s any other reason ?

Adore everything new, interesting, and exciting. Cannot imagine my life without entertainments and having fun. I believe that all happening to us is not by accident. Everything is interconnected in this world. Travelling, adventures, extreme sports are also an integral part of me, but I like watching and admiring extreme sports rather than doing it ?
