Iโm Michelle, living in Rostock for seven years now. I love adventures especially with my bicycle but as much as I love that I love to take part in any events that happen in Rostock. I like to play beachvolleyball, get rid of the sand afterwards in the baltic sea or eat cake in one of the great cafรฉs in Rostock. So as a conclusion I love to be active, to try new food and to meet new people every now and then. Seee you!

Trying to change myself every day. The truth is that I lose this battle most of the time, but with each battle I learn more about myself and about my world. I like to dance โ especially forrรณ โ it is my passion. I studied Philosophy in a classical school, New Acropolis, trying to understand the deeper things in life. Iโm not a typical IT guy, I thinkโฆ but maybe I am. Honestly, I donโt really know who I am yet. I started an MBA in Project Management to help me organize my thoughts when I work, create, and manage projects โ including the greatest project of all: my life. (This is really true haha. I honestly believe that studying Project Management helps me with many things in my life.) I like conversations โ long conversations โ talking and learning even more by listening. Talking about meaningful things that other people know, things that matter to us! Things as small as a flower, as big as the sky, and as funny as a jokeโฆ Creating silly and simple moments so we never forget โ thatโs one of my missions. ;)

Hi, I'm Toni from everywhere! ๐๐๐ผ Iโm a bit crazy (in the best way), positive, open-minded, and full of energy. I love diving into new adventures and making the most of my time on this earth doing what I canโt yet. ๐๐ผ I enjoy listening to interesting life stories and am always up for a good conversation about anything and everything. ๐ค I spent 3 years traveling, starting with a road trip to Iran in my firefighter truck, followed by two years of hitchhiking from Germany all the way to Pakistan and back. I chose this way of traveling because, in my opinion, nothing brings you closer to locals or creates bonds between strangers like hitchhiking and Couchsurfing. ๐๐ผโบ๏ธ Now that I'm back in Germany, Iโm excited to return the favor of being hosted by hosting others and giving back everything I can to travelers who want to experience my beautiful city. Much love Toni โค๏ธ Telegram&Whatsapp: +4917641078337
Five years ago, I moved to Rostock to study biology. What started as a decision about university somehow turned into five years of my life โ a Bachelorโs degree, a Masterโs degree, countless hours in laboratories, research projects that rarely went exactly as planned, and a lot of growing up along the way. Iโm now at the end of my Masterโs in Zoology and about to start my first full-time job. So, for the first time in years, thereโs a very clear next chapter waiting for me. But before I move into a new apartment, start working 40 hours a week and settle into the routine of โadult lifeโ, I really want to take a step back and travel for a while. I think thatโs also why I like the idea of Couchsurfing. Iโm not particularly interested in ticking off as many tourist attractions as possible. Iโd rather see places through the eyes of people who actually live there, have long conversations over dinner, hear the stories behind a city, and hopefully share some of my own along the way. Iโm curious by nature โ probably partly because being a biologist makes me want to understand how everything works. I like learning languages, playing sports, meeting people who are very different from me, and occasionally taking on way too many things at once. After five years of studying, I think Iโve earned a little adventure before the next chapter begins.
Moin moin! ๐ I grew up in a small village where everyone knew everyone, so I guess talking to strangers never really felt strange to me. These days I spend most of my time doing my PhD, but whenever I get a few days off, I throw some clothes in a bag, hop on my bike, and see where the road takes me. Right now I'm on my first ever solo bikepacking trip. I started in Flensburg thinking I'd barely make it to Copenhagen before my bus home. Turns out I completely underestimated myself. Along the way I've slept in shelters, cooked simple meals, watched some beautiful sunsets, and met people who were kind for no reason other than they could be. That's probably my favourite part of travelling. I'm pretty easygoing and curious. I like long conversations, random stories, local food, and hearing how people ended up where they are. I'm clean, respectful, and happy to help around the house. If we have some time, I'd love to cook you an Indian meal in return for your hospitality. I haven't hosted anyone yet, but I have a small studio apartment with an extra mattress. Once I'm back home, I'd love to return the kindness I've received on my travels. I like the idea that strangers can become friends over a shared meal or a good conversation.
No bio yet, probably off exploring
CURRENT MISSION to seach for an old farmhouse/ industrial hall for our little community & getting things done in my garden and camper van... ABOUT ME ( ! I don't have internet very often, so unfortunately, I probably will not read your message on time, when it will reach me just a few days before comming to Rostock, or even a last minute request. SORRY!!!) i'm an open minded, easy-going & abventurous person & i'm into travelling since i'm a kid. i love to be together with nice people, listen to & make handmade music, to do road trips in a camper van or on a bicycle, to sleep at the beach during summer, to handycraft all kinds of things (especially out of wood, paper or textil) & i'm very happy with my job as a woodworker. besides that, i love my cat frieda & bulk trash/council cleaning & i really like old stuff (from kitchen wear to clothing to bikes to cars to houses/ruins) :) I live very oldschool-like in a very tiny little hut in the nature... kind of ;) & i love it! ... no luxury, outside kitchen, no water toilet, no wlan, no washingmashine - just that you know! :) PHILOSOPHY - DIY! - "carpe diem" ... or even try to ; ) - fly by the seat of my pants
I was travelling solo through Asia (soon in Lateinamerika) and I had really good experiences with CS. Now I also want to share the local vibe from Rostock aswell. If you visit my home, you would stay with us - me and my husband Jan, but sure you would have your own room. Now more to my person - I like any kind of sports and adventure, I love dancing and singing. Now I am practising ukulele for a while and I started a side study as a nutritionist, because itโs interesting to me. In my journey in Asia I learned to catch some waves and I got a scuba license - love both and try to run after it on travels! I also like to play board/ online games, but we could also just hang out and talk. Going out with friends or around the City and the Port or chill at the beach in summer.
