Since I have 3 cats of course there will be some cathair around at our place...unfortunately my 4. cat Muppi, who was especially loved by all my travellers, passed recently du to her very old age :/ Your stay at our place: During the week: Arrival after 19.00 at my place -> you can leave your stuff at my place earlier, thats usually no problem. If I have time, we can hang out from like 16.00 Leaving: Depends, if i work at the office: 08.00 If i work at home: any time you want Why arrival after 19.00? Its just that my boyfriend arrives home from work at around 18.00, and I want to give him a bit time to relax before greeting a visitor :) Weekends might be hard for us to host, but let us try... :) I have 1 guestmattress, plenty of pillows/blankets for you. Sofa is not really available/not made for sleeping, it has seen better times... Well, if you dont mind sleeping on a wreck of a sofa.. its yours. We host 2 nights maximum, preferably one. If we vibe well and have time, we can extend it :) Snacks and water are available for free at home! Please let me know if I should arrange dinner for you and if so, if you need a vegetarian or vegan option (most days I cook anyway - we often eat meat) I live 15 minutes by train from the citycenter in a quiet area directly at the river Rhine. Hey, my name is Frederick, I’m a filmmaker based in Cologne, Germany and I found my passion for hitchhiking and couchsurfing on a hitchhiking trip through Sweden and Denmark with a friend and a solo trip right after through Ireland (I made a movie about it which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/-dWyJy30JhQ ) where I fell in love with this way of traveling and meeting people completely. I’m passionate about talking to people and learning their philosophies and believes and I’m really into stories, mostly fiction but not exclusively, so if you know any movies, series, books, comics or video games, that’s an easy start and I’m always eager to learn about anything I don’t know. I like to learn all the details between cultures and how they connect back to the things that we all share.
