I used to travel and tour a LOT in my 20s. I will travel and tour SOME more in my 30s. I run a lot of miles every week and I think it's great fun. I think animals deserve moral consideration. Also, I'm a huge Buddy Holly enthusiast.

**CURRENT MISSION** *"If I'm an advocate for anything, it's to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. The extent to which you can walk in someone else's shoes or at least eat their food, it's a plus for everybody. Open your mind, get up off the couch, move."* — Anthony Bourdain --- **ABOUT ME** Knowing yourself is a lifelong project. Most people never really start. I'm somewhere in the middle — curious enough to keep digging, and honest enough to admit the map is still incomplete. I travel the way I think: slowly at first, then all at once. There's an old idea that a thousand miles of road teaches more than a thousand books. I believe that — and I still read the books. I'm drawn to music, art, and the kind of conversation that doesn't end when the coffee gets cold. If you're the type who needs silence to think, we'll get along fine. If you need noise to feel alive, we'll get along even better. --- **IF YOU'RE STAYING WITH ME** I host travelers — people in motion, with somewhere they're genuinely going, even if they don't fully know where yet. If you're in town for a concert or to visit a friend, a hostel will serve you better. I won't host two people who already know each other. Strangers make better guests — and better stories. What I do ask: be present. Put the phone down sometimes. I'm not here to be a hotel; I'm here to share a few hours of something real. That's the whole point of this, isn't it? ---
