CURRENT MISSION Finishing my PhD!!!!!!!!! ABOUT ME I'm a open minded guy. Sometimes a bit shy. Always with a smile. I like to meet new people and get to know new cultures. Maybe you're wondering why I'm a member since 2009 and still have so few references. In 2009 I hear about couchsurfing and was so excited about this idea, so I registered me here. But unfortunately I never used my chance and get my ass up. But now I want to leave my couch and visit other couches all around the world. I'm really excited to make new experiences by couchsurfung :)

I was born in Athens as a kurd, fled the economic crisis, and later the war in Syria. Now I live in Germany, study, work part time, and live my life:) I'm new to the Cs community but i enjoy spending time and get into the lifes of new people around the world, this is the reason why Cs is the perfect plattform for me;) I'm a ENFP-T personaltype, lets get creative!

I immigrated to Germany almost two years ago and have been exploring the beauty of this country while navigating life as an expat. CURRENT MISSION I'm very sad to see how Couchsurfing website is changing more and more into a direction that is not anymore about community making but into the direction of providing services. ABOUT ME I'm a monster, I hate people, especially normal people! Anthropology is one of my islands, Art in general, especially cinema/video, are the ocean around it. I work in a small independent cinema. I am active in very different social fields that for me are relevant and important: Feminism, Queer-activism, PoC-empowerment, are some keywords about them. I like to explore the city where I live as if I have never been there, and it's hard to keep the eye in alert, but most of the time I'm able to do it. I believe that every person has something interesting to share, a hidden universe to discover. That's one of the reasons why I like to meet people and their particular points of view about life. Besides all that I like to listen to music, read many books, watch movies, ride my bike, swim, cook, dance, paint... take pictures (so please smile) So I'm just a common guy living his life and letting others do their ways (see about people I enjoy below). PHILOSOPHY I like to discover personal universes, I'm passionate to meet people and their particular points of view about life. I like to know what happens in the world, although often, I wish that did not happen. The world in which we live is sometimes ridiculous, but to live is the only real treasure that we have.

CURRENT MISSION Start a new part of my life - in Germany again I'm sorry, I can't accept guests for the moment because my room is occupied. ABOUT ME After spending 35 years in France, I settled down again in Germany because of the refugees. It was for me a new start, I have the impression to be needed and to do something useful. Isn't that the best thing you can hope for in life? Help other people. PHILOSOPHY My philosophy is "if you want, you can", and also "There are no problems, there are only solutions". I'm very open-minded and tolerant, I am for pacifisme, anti-racism and communication between people. I'm not religious.

Instagram: soumil296 I am a fun loving person, interested in meeting new people and knowing them. Doing adventure activities and exploring new places also excite me. I love meeting people from other countries, listening to travel stories and learning about other cultures. In reality I'm not a talkitive person, but Couchsurfing has completely changed me, after meeting so many people from different backgrounds I've many Things now to talk about. I go out every weekend for hiking with several others in Nordrhein Westfalen region of Germany, which is where I currently live. I try to go biking/mountain biking as and when I find enthusiastic people around. I have recently discovered my interest for Kayaking and Canoeing. I just love the soothing sound of Handpan and also had an opportunity to play it while doing Couchsurfing and Workaway. I am a licensed paragliding pilot but i still wish to continue learning this sport further, to be able to fly independently without the instructor guiding me on the radio... 😃 Here's my YouTube video - https://youtu.be/3EWwrNV7kfI Horse riding, Sea Surfing, Scuba diving and Sky diving are few of the things I wish to learn in the near future... Regularly doing yoga, meditating, eating healthy are a part of my daily routine to stay fit and try and enjoy every moment of life.
